Plumbing fixed properly, the first time

Mercer Plumbing handles repairs, water heaters, drain cleaning and emergency callouts across Denver. Call and you talk to a plumber, not a call center.

Why Mercer

A plumbing call should be simple

Most of the frustration in plumbing is not the pipe. It is the waiting, the vague quote and the crew that never comes back. We run the job the other way around.

You talk to a plumber

Describe the problem to someone who works on it. No script, no ticket number.

One crew, start to finish

The plumber who diagnoses the job is the plumber who completes it and shows you the work.

Price agreed before work starts

We explain what needs doing, what it costs, and what can wait. Nothing begins until you say yes.

Services

What we get called out for

Every job ends with the work shown to you and the area left clean.

01

Repairs

Leaks, dripping fixtures, running toilets, failing shutoffs and pipework that has been patched one too many times.

02

Water heaters

Diagnosis, repair and replacement for tank and tankless units, including venting and the connections around them.

03

Drain cleaning

Slow drains, blocked kitchen lines, backed-up main lines. Cleared, then checked to see why it happened.

04

Emergency callouts

Burst lines, water where it should not be, no hot water in a cold Denver week. Call and we prioritize it.

Emergency

Water going somewhere it should not?

Emergency callouts are what we reorganize the day around. Tell us what is happening and we will tell you honestly how soon we can be there.

While you wait

  1. 01

Shut off the water at the fixture, or at the main if you cannot reach it.

  2. 02

If it is near wiring or a panel, cut the power to that circuit.

  3. 03

Call us and describe what you can see. We tell you what to do next.

How it works

Four steps, no surprises

  1. 01
You call or send the form
Tell us the address and what is happening. A plumber, not a dispatcher, decides how urgent it is.
  2. 02
    We diagnose on site
We find the actual cause rather than the nearest symptom, and show you what we found.
  3. 03
    You approve the price
The work and the cost in plain language, including anything that can safely wait.
  4. 04
We fix it and clean up
The repair is completed, tested with you there, and the space is left as we found it.

Questions

The things people ask first

Do you give a price before you start?

Yes. We diagnose the problem, explain what the repair involves, and give you the price. Work only begins once you approve it.

Can you repair my water heater instead of replacing it?

Often, yes. We tell you what is actually failing and whether a repair is sensible or whether replacement is the better spend.

My drain keeps blocking. Will clearing it fix that?

Clearing it solves today. We also look at why it is happening, because a line that blocks repeatedly usually has a cause worth finding.

What counts as an emergency?

Water you cannot stop, a burst line, a backed-up main, or no hot water in freezing weather. Call and describe it, and we will tell you how soon we can get there.

Do I need to be home?

Someone who can approve the work should be there. We walk you through what we found and test the repair with you before we leave.
